Removals in Stratford-upon-Avon

We are a removals firm based in Stratford-upon-Avon, and the town is not just an address on the van — it is the reason the work goes smoothly. We know which lanes a lorry cannot take, when the market closes the centre, where you can and cannot park a full load, and how a Tudor staircase argues with a wardrobe. Local house moves, cottage moves, downsizing and business relocations across Warwickshire — quoted in writing, carried by hands that have done it here before.

Where we work

Stratford-upon-Avon and its villages

If your move starts or ends in one of these, you are on our patch. If it is just beyond, ask — chances are we are there anyway.

01

Stratford town centre

Old Town, Rother Street, the Waterside and the Georgian terraces — parking, permits and pedestrian zones all planned for.

02

Shottery & Shottery Manor

Cottage lanes and narrow approaches; we bring the vehicle that actually fits.

03

Tiddington & Alveston

Riverside homes east of town, moved without churning up a soft verge or a gravel drive.

04

Wellesbourne & Charlecote

Village houses and the odd estate cottage, handled with room to spare.

05

Alcester & Bidford-on-Avon

Market-town moves along the Arrow and the Avon, tight high streets included.

06

Henley-in-Arden & Shipston

Timber-framed high-street homes where access is the whole job.

07

Warwick & Barford

A short hop up the road — regular ground for us, castle traffic and all.

Why local matters

Knowing the ground is half the move

A removals crew that has never driven Stratford’s centre learns the hard way — on your time, against your wall. We already know the pinch points: the Bridge Street loading windows, the Waterside crowds in season, the drives off Tiddington Road that swallow a heavy vehicle after rain. That knowledge turns a fraught day into a quiet one.

Beyond the town

Moving further, or abroad

Leaving Warwickshire altogether? We run long-distance moves across the UK and a dedicated European and Mediterranean arm — France, Spain, Portugal and Cyprus, framed as moves from Stratford-upon-Avon and delivered to the door. It is the same firm and the same care, just a longer drive.

Local moves — your questions

Which areas around Stratford-upon-Avon do you cover?

We are based in Stratford-upon-Avon and cover the town and its surrounding Warwickshire villages — Shottery, Tiddington, Wellesbourne, Alcester, Henley-in-Arden, Shipston-on-Stour, Bidford-on-Avon and out towards Warwick. For moves abroad we collect from across the wider Midlands as well.

How do I get a quote, and will you give me a figure over the phone?

Fill in the quote form with the basics of your move, or call us. We do not read out a number before we understand the job — that way lies the sort of estimate that changes on the day. Instead we take your details, talk through anything unusual, and send you a written quote you can rely on.

Do you pack, or is that extra work I arrange myself?

We pack as much or as little as you like. Some customers want a full packing service down to the last picture frame; others box the everyday things themselves and leave us the awkward, fragile and heavy items. Tell us which suits you and we will price the move accordingly.

Can you handle a period cottage — narrow stairs, low beams, tight lanes?

That is much of what we do here. Stratford and its villages are full of listed cottages, timber-framed houses and lanes a large lorry cannot reach. We assess access when we quote, bring the right vehicle and equipment, and protect original features — beams, flagstones, staircases — as we work.

Do you offer storage if there is a gap between homes?

Yes. If your dates do not line up — a common thing in a chain — we can store your belongings securely and complete the move when you are ready. It is also useful for downsizing moves and for holding a part-load before an international departure.
